About Early Doors:
Going from strength to strength, Dinked are today adding a new strand to their offerings, Early Doors. Designed to promote artists on the cusp, Early Doors is a new series for breaking acts to press records on vinyl, often for the first time, to be sold exclusively through the Dinked network of shops first. Supporting music at a grassroots level is something independent records shops are both passionate about and uniquely positioned to do. Launching this new series is the debut EP by Belfast’s brilliant Makeshift Art Bar, one of this year’s most exciting additions to The Great Escape bill and a band already heavily championed by BBC 6Music among others. Self-released back in January, their brilliant four track art punk EP ‘Lackluster Writing Makes Fundamental Reading’ has only been available digitally until now, so Dinked have taken it upon themselves to rectify this and help them give it a much deserved vinyl pressing.
